(Dark plot soon for Alex and friends. This is just the little teaser I
started writing a while ago and put aside and forgot to finish. Usual warnings apply with Alex. Violence and swear words. Though mostly just his usual behavior right now. XD)
Alex
watched Aeri walk out the door of his apartment with a heavy sigh. She
was right. There was no way he could do this alone. Especially in the
shape one surprise encounter had left him in. So he would keep his
promise to Aeri on this. He wouldn’t face Jaqcues without help.
At least Aeri had helped fix his bandages on his arms. Doing them one handed was difficult. Especially to get them tight enough.
Thud.
His fist hit the wall near the bath. A low snarl in his throat. His
mentor wasn’t dead. Though if Alex had been any slower to respond to the
threat… He definitely would have been instead. Closing his crimson
eyes, his forehead came to rest against the wall. Never again… He
wouldn’t let his old mentor try to destroy anyone he cared about. Alex
knew he wasn’t a good person, would never be a good person. Having the
two people who did actually care about him… No way in seven hells would
he let Jaqcues touch them.
A calming deep breath. Shit… He hated
all of this. Should have checked that day years ago to make sure the
asshole had died. But he had been hurt then as well. Bleeding and
injured he had escaped to the Shroud to hide. Lick his wounds and wait.
Yet his mentor… The bastard had done much the same. Bided his time
waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike like a snake.
Alex
wasn’t about to let Jaqcues ruin his life. The man might have helped
make him the monster he was… But there was no way in seven hells the man
was going to destroy what he had now.
A soft and deep
hum. The sound of a knife sliding over wood. A sinister smile on the
dark skin of the elezen who sat outside on the roof of a house nearby
the apartment building in the Mist. A multitude of scars covering every
bare inch of skin on his hands.
“Oh my dear boy… Run and hide.
I’ll find you every time.” the man chuckled deeply as he held up the
rough carving of a person. Not meant to look like anyone in particular.
Snap went the small carving as the man snapped it in two. “The price of
your behavior… Will be paid in blood.”
